Dr. Ákos Tatár
head physician of the myspirit health program, general practitioner, expert on traditional chinese and oriental medicineHe gained his general medical degree in Germany, in 1978. Between the period of 1991-92, he studied traditional Chinese medicine at the SAMRA University in Los Angeles, USA. After gaining his degree, he worked in West Germany until 1993, first at a hospital and later as a general practitioner.
From 1993, he worked as a medical counselor to ClacoCompany Ltd. for a period of five years as well as working in private practice in Jamaica.
From 1998-2000 he worked as a doctor in Germany, followed by Norway in 2002 and Trinidad in 2004.
From 2004 to 2014, he worked at a state medical clinic on the Bahamas.
He gained a great deal of experience in the fields of internal medicine, family medicine, pediatric practice and hospice care in diagnostics and differential diagnostics, as well as in planning, executing and evaluating therapies. He also familiarized himself with the application of herbs, alternative treatments and acupuncture.
