Initially, she worked as a chemical technician in domestic and foreign laboratories, before realizing her childhood dream and completing beautician school.

She spent her practical years in hotels and fell in love with the special, pampering world of the hotel industry.

As a practical instructor of the Dr Derm firm, she played a key role in introducing the Thalasso therapy in Hungary.

At the first domestic course of the International Wellness Institute she gained her international spa manager certification followed by her beautician mastership.

She has been working at the NaturMed Hotel Carbona in Hévíz since 2006, where she established the Esteticum Beauty Salon.

Since its construction, she took part in the design of the spa and beauty facility of the Spirit Hotel Thermal Spa, overseeing the professionalism of its realization and is currently the hotel's spa supervisor. She overviews the host of services for the refreshment and physical and mental improvement of guests at both prestigious hotels, as well as the environment and professional background of these services.

In 2010, the Spirit Hotel Thermal Spa won the title of the best European spa destination, followed by Tünde Torhosi being selected by an international professional jury as one of Europe's top three spa managers, allowing her to accept the Blue Diamond award established by the Forum Hotel&Spa.
In view of the lack of exclusive organic cosmetic treatments, she created a unique cosmetic treatment protocol based on organic active agents and in cooperation with other experts took part in the development of the mySPIRIT skincare organic cosmetic product range.

The treatments and products won the Hungarian Product Grand Prix award in the year of their introduction, followed by the mySPIRIT skincare organic cosmetics being chosen in 2015 as the best cosmetic innovation of the year at the EUROPEAN HEALTH & SPA AWARDS which awards the best health and wellness services, brands and companies.
